Innovation@YNCORIS: How chemical companies use energy flexibility.

At the Innovation@YNCORIS format, which took place at the beginning of November in the Knapsack chemical park, RIZM presented its solution to support chemical companies in making their energy procurement more flexible. Especially for batch production, RIZM's "AI-Energy Operator" opens up the opportunity to purchase energy at favorable times and thereby reduce costs.

At the core of this technology is RIZM's algorithm combined with a digital twin of production. The virtual image of a plant shows precisely at which times energy is available cheaply – and when shifting production is worthwhile. This way companies avoid "expensive" load peaks. On site at the chemical park, this quickly sparked the interest of potential users.
